Frequently asked

Which apps can I use camtune with?

Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Photo Booth, QuickTime, OBS Studio, and any video-call site running in Chrome / Safari / Firefox — anywhere you can pick a camera on macOS.

Does it work on iPhone or iPad?

Not yet. camtune is Mac-only today; iOS and iPadOS versions are on the roadmap.

Is my video sent anywhere?

No. All processing happens on-device. Video frames are never transmitted to a server.

My meeting app doesn't show camtune in the camera list

Apps like Zoom and Chrome cache the camera list when they launch. Quit them fully with ⌘Q after enabling camtune, then reopen.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds follow Apple's policy. Submit a refund request from your App Store purchase history.
